I use the Mutt MUA, for years I hated the fact that there is no simple way to make it speak SMTP. The Mutt developers refuse to code in SMTP support since they maintain its a MUA not a MTA, see their FAQ.
Enter msmtp, it is a SMTP “plugin” for MUA’s.
I have been using a iPod for about a month now. For the most part I love it.
Hot on the heels of yesterday’s MS Knowledge base RSS feeds I discover gmane.org. This is a totally amasing service that takes common mailing lists such as those from various Open Source projects, remove spam, remove cross posts and pop them into a NTTP server. At the moment it carries 4272 groups and 9377095 posts.
This is amasing for me since it moves more things out of my mail client and into my Aggregator which happens to have really nice NTTP support.
Over at Lockergnome I saw mention of this amasing resource for Windows Kiddies. RSS Feeds for every category on the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
